Simplenote is a reference in its field, and its hallmark feature is just how simple it really is. Especially when all you want to do is jot down a few simple reminders that you want in one place so they're easier to find later. Most of them make the mistake of including too many useless add ons. You can do this by going into steam, left-clicking on steamvr, opening properties, opening betas, and selecting "oculus win7and8 - v1.15.12 of steamvr which allowed older oculus software", then installing that from there. There are a lot of tools out there for taking notes. It appears that something to do with the oculus home doesn't agree with the rift S.ĮDIT: Forgot to put it in the post lol, but you will need to use an older version of steamvr for this. Really weird that this is still an issue in v29. Any help is much appriciated.ĮDIT: Managed to fix it myself by following this specific pastebin: Īnd blocking outbound connections from oculus through windows firewall (disabling it's internet access) (Tutorial here: ) (This stops the weird "change your password" popup whenever you put on your headset) Tried updating to the latest version oculus put out and my rift s is still bricked on that version. It's stuck in this weird loop of closing and opening itself for me at least. I reckon it's something to do with oculus changing how updates work. Looks like this thing stopped working either today or a while ago. Posted this on the linked post, but I figured i'd post it here too. No low effort memes, gifs, image macros, etc. ![]()
